Mrs. Makia Holmes has worked in education for over 10 years. She has earned her Master’s degree adolescence and child development and has made it her mission to help children reach their academic and personal goals for a better future. She believes that in order for students to grow and retain what they have learned, they must enjoy it and be able to relate it with their own world. She has worked in several areas of education including private and public schools, group homes, detention centers, and higher education. Her motto is anything is possible if you have faith and never give up.
